“HIS Church”

We gather as God's church to hear His powerful Word and to offer Him our prayers and praises.   We give thanks to HIM for Zion Ev. Lutheran Church and pray for all that is done through “HIS Church” to be done with honor, gratitude and glory to God alone.

We trust God will continue to use His church to strengthen our faith and share the good news about His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord.  We will continue to uplift each member of Zion by name in prayer during our Worship services each Sunday at 9:30 AM.   We welcome everyone to join us to share His love and the fellowship we share in Christ.   God's blessings continue.....

CONFIRMATION  NEWS

Confirmation class starts September 15th at 5:30.  Classes run 5:30-6:30.

If you have a child or know of a child in that age group please bring them to confirmation.  It is fun and we do learn a lot.

A Luther’s small catechism book will be provided for each student.  I ask that they bring their Bibles. If they do not have one, we will provide one for them.

Please let me know if your child will be attending.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions at 920.596.2123 or email me at janesuehs77@gmail.com.

God’s blessings,
Jane Suehs
SUNDAY  SCHOOL  NEWS

Sunday School starts September 12th.  I am looking forward to teaching your children about Jesus.

A change this year: Sunday School will be before the church service at 8:45 -9:25.  We feel it important to have the children attend church services with their family.

Sept. 12th will be “get to know each other” Sunday.  Your child can bring something special and tell about it, what it means to them or why it is special to them.

During the church service will have the “blessing of the backpack”.  Please have your child bring their backpack to church with them, as they will be going to the front of the church for the blessing and get a zipper tag for their backpack.

All children are invited to come.  If you know someone that has children, and they want them to attend Sunday school, please tell them we will welcome them with open arms.  Every child deserves the chance to learn about Jesus.

Please let me know if your child will be attending. You can call me @ 596-2123 or email me @ janesuehs77@gmail.com.  I am looking forward to hearing from you.

God’s blessings,   Jane Suehs
